Day 1: Darwin - Litchfield
Head south to the township of Batchelor to enter Litchfield National Park, pausing to swim at the many waterholes including Florence & Wangi Falls, all of which are spring fed and flow all year. Overnight at Rum Jungle Bungalows.

Day 2: Litchfield - Katherine
Leave Litchfield via the southern entrance, pausing at Sandy Creek and Suprise Creek Falls to arrive in Katherine for a 3pm cruise on Katherine Gorge. Overnight at Paraway Motel.

Day 3: Katherine - Kakadu
Today explore the southern half of Kakadu, it's many waterfalls including Gunlom and Maguk (Barramundi Gorge), continuing to Cooinda for a sunset cruise on Yellow Water. Two nights at Gagudju Lodge Cooinda.

Day 4: Kakadu - Kakadu
Restfull morning prior to wandering through the many galleries at Nourlangie Arts sites, after lunch stroll through the cultural centre before heading to Urbirr for sunset.

Day 5: Kakadu - Darwin
Leave Kakadu National Park, stop at the Bark Hut, built in the wild era of buffalo and crocodile hunting before continuing on to the Adelaide River where you might like to stop for a cruise to see the Famous Jumping Crocodiles. The rejoin the highway to arrive in Darwin mid afternoon.
