Freedom to join in other guests and dine in the fabulous Gold Kangaroo Restaurant or do your own thing. Boasting a generous lounge area complete with CD, DVD & Video entertainment, private dining room and kitchen facilities, this carriage offers every amenity for the ultimate traveling experience. The Chairman's Carriage accommodates up to eight in comfort. It has two spacious deluxe cabins featuring double beds and sharing a two way bathroom. There are also two private twin cabins each featuring a three seater lounge that converts to upper & lower sleeping accommodation.

Prince
of Wales Car
For a truly historic experience
on one of Australia's Great Trains, travel in the luxurious Prince of Wales
Carriage. Originally built in 1919 to accommodate a royal visit from Edward,
Prince of Wales, the beautifully crafted timber carriage accommodates up to
10 people in comfort.

Recently refurbished to included Wunderlich pressed metal and cathedral glass doors. Ornate, hand tooled crests of each of the Commonwealth states subtly decorate the walls of the impressive Victorian Lounge. The carriage accommodates up to ten people, including four twin cabins. Two large single cabins, when combined form the Mountbattern suite. There is also a private lounge area and central full size bathroom.
