1 Wed : Join the Indian Pacific in Sydney
Spend your first night on the Indian Pacific enjoying a delicious dinner along with panoramic views of the Blue Mountains as you head west through New South Wales into the outback. (D)

2 Thur : Broken Hill and Adelaide
The train crosses the Darling River and skirts the shore of Lake Menindie on its way to Broken Hill. You'll have time for a Whistle Stop Tour (additional cost) in Broken Hill before reboarding the train for the rest of your journey to Adelaide. After arriving in Adelaide you are transferred to the Holiday Inn Adelaide, your base for the next 3 nights. The remainder of your day is free for you to explore the elegant capital of South Australia. (BL)

3 Fri : Mclaren Vale & Adelaide Hills Winery Ultimate
Today the picturesque wine regions of McLaren Vale and the Adelaide Hills provide you with an opportunity to delight in the tastes of South Australia. Your first stop is Fox Creek's Cellar Door, a ninteenth century stone cottage set amongst the vineyards that showcases a state of the art winemaking facility. Next stop is The Olive Grove where you sample the fruits of the harvest. Enjkoy a delightful two course lunch at Woodstock Winery before visiting Hugo Estate Vineyard. You then travel to the Adelaide Hills to visit the Bridgewater Mill and Petaluma Wines. Your last stop for the day is at Arranmore Vineyard to spend time with a winemaker, a very personal and 'hands on' experience. (BL)

4 Sat : Barossa Valley Supreme
Today discover the flavours of the world famous Barossa Valley wine region. Visit the well known Wolf Blass Winery and Maggie Beer's Farm Shop to sample her gourmet pates and the Beer Brothers wines. Enjoy the best foods the region has to offer at Barossa Valley Estate, your lunch venue, as you sample agourmet regional platter of local meats, cheeses, pickles, olives, breads etc. Sit back and relax, taking in the ambience, views and premium wines of the region. At Langmiel Estate enjoy the tour of their 160 year old Shiraz vinyards and a tasting of their wines. Your last stop for the day is at Chateau Tanunda for a structured tasting in one of Australia's oldest historic winery buildings. (BL)
