train journeys. The 47 hour, 2979km transcontinental
journey features off train touring options in Alice
Springs and Katherine Gorge at modest extra cost. Experience

Ghan.

Station 1 hour prior to departure. At all other stations,

Take

line for touring and discovering new places.
NB. Due to the redevelopment
of Melbourne Spencer Street Station, Great Southern
Railway will be withdrawing the Motorail facility on
The Overland between Melbourne and Adelaide and vice
versa until completion of the project.
