Day 1: Ayers Rock
On arrival at Ayers Rock Airport
you will be met and transferred to your hotel (flights into Ayers Rock prior
to 1.40pm). This afternoon join your Guide for a tour of the base of Ayers Rock
(Uluru) and a guided walk into Mutitjulu Waterhole. Visit the Uluru-Kata
Tjuta Cultural Centre. View sunset over Ayers Rock and enjoy a complimentary
glass of wine. Accommodation: Ayers Rock Resort - choice of accommodation.
Day 2: The Olgas - Kings
Canyon
This morning enjoy sunrise over
Ayers Rock (tea and coffee included). Travel out to the Olgas (Kata-Tjuta)
for a guided walk through its spectacular domes. The trail leads through to
a lookout point with spectacular views deep into the Valley of the Winds. This
afternoon travel to Kings Canyon Resort. Accommodation: Kings Canyon Resort
- Rangeview Rooms (YK51F , S & R ), or Lodge Rooms (YK51L).
Day 3: Kings Canyon - Alice
Springs
This morning join your Guide for
the rocky climb to the rim of magnificent Kings Canyon (for the energetic, sturdy
footwear required). Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn
Canyon floor, an easier shady walk. There is time to purchase lunch at Kings
Canyon Resort (own expense) before travelling to Alice Springs, arriving at
approximately 6.30pm. or Ayers Rock Resort 5.00pm.
Departs: 2.15pm
Daily (Apr - Oct), 3.00pm Daily (Nov - Mar) from Ayers Rock Resort
Returns: 6.30pm approximately
in Alice Springs
Includes all touring and accommodation for 2 nights.
Does not include National Park Entry Fee.
