One (110km)
On arrival at Ayers Rock airport, transfer to your hotel, with
your car available at the Ayers Rock Information Centre. This afternoon drive around the
base of Ayers Rock (Uluru) and take a walk into Mutitjulu Water hole. Visit the
Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre then view sunset over Ayers Rock. Accommodation:

Day
Two
(350km)
Get up early to enjoy
sunrise over Ayers Rock, with opportunity to climb Uluru. Travel out to the
Olgas (Kata-Tjuta) for a walk through its spectacular domes. The trail leads
through to a lookout point with spectacular views deep into the Valley of
the Winds. This afternoon travel to Kings Canyon. Budget rooms for Travellers, Standard room for Boutique, Deluxe room First Class and Deluxe.
Day
Three (480km)
This morning climb
to the rim of magnificent Kings Canyon (for the energetic, sturdy footwear
required). Alternately, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn Canyon
floor (an easier shady walk) before travelling to Alice Springs. Or this self
drive package can finish at Ayers Rock airport, suggest 1330+ flight departures.
