Day 1
After pick up from Ayers Rock Resort, we set out to
explore the wonder of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) and hike the Valley
of the Winds. We head to Uluru (Ayers Rock) to enjoy champagne whilst
we watch the desert sun set over the Rock. After a hearty dinner
at our permanent campsite (tents with real beds), take the opportunity
to view the brilliance of the outback sky before retiring for the
night. (D)

Day 2
An early start for one of the highlights of the tour
- the Uluru (Ayers Rock) sunrise. The challenge of the optional
Uluru climb is rewarded with an incredible view of the rock and
the changing light on the desert. Or you may choose to do a tour
around the base exploring the mysterious formations & Aboriginal
art sites of this extraordinary rock. A visit to the Cultural Centre
offers the chance to view and purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts
before returning to Ayers Rock Resort at 12.00pm. (B)
Note:
We use tents with proper beds but you will need to provide your
own sleeping bag and pillow.
