Day One
We leave Alice Springs around 0630 and head for Kings Canyon. We have the whole afternoon there with plenty of time for the north and south walls and a swim in the Garden of Eden water hole. On sunset we pull into Curtin Springs for a cold beer and hot shower, then it's on to our bush camp in the sand dunes.

Day Two
This morning is spent on a rewarding hike through the Valley of the Winds at Kata Juta. After lunch it's off to Uluru for a leisurely guided base walk around the rock (lots of stories to hear and much to learn). Then we relax and watch the sun set on this amazing monolith.

Day Three
Up early and onto the rock for an optional sunrise climb. If your not climbing this time is free to enjoy sunrise and absorb this beautiful and spiritual place. We visit the informative culture centre, then it's back to Alice Springs stopping off for a camel ride at Noel Fullerton's and overnight in a hostel in Alice Springs.

Day Four
Free Morning to look around Alice Springs, maybe take in the Royal Flying Doctors Service, School of the Air or the original Telegraph Station, before joining the overnight Ghan to Adelaide.
